Foot soak is not a new thing. The homemade foot bath is a cure that has always been recommended by our grandmothers, to help relieve a cold, a running nose or to just relax and tone our body and spirit.

Behind all cures coming from our ancestors there is an explanation, even though nowadays we believe granny’s cures are old fashioned and some of them stay underestimated.

The healing properties of the water – hydrotherapy (aquatic therapy / balneo therapy) are known for thousands of years. They were used by the Ancient Egyptians, Thraciens and Romans to cure different conditions, to relieve pain, to detox our bodies or to just keep our beauty.
